is the number one fishing port on the cruise ship circuit. Explore Alaska Charters
offers full service fishing shore excursions tailored for the cruise passenger's
needs. As a cruise ship passenger, you can take advantage of our 4
or 6 hour fishing charters. Your group of 4 - 6 people will be met at your
ship and then shuttled to the charter vessel 'Nooya'.
At
the end of your guided fishing charter we will drop your catch off at a local
processing facility where it will be cleaned, filleted, frozen, and shipped to
the address of your choice on the date you request. Once your fish processing
arrangements have been made, we will return you to your cruise ship. "Catch

Remote
Fly Fishing for Alaskan Salmon
& Trout This is a catch and release fishing
charter Do
you have what it takes to land a salmon on a fly rod? This Ketchikan sport fishing
shore excursion will take you to a remote salmon stream in the Tongass National
Forest, where you will have the opportunity to hook into many wild Alaskan Salmon
and Trout. Your
guide, Rick Collins, will meet you when your ship arrives. From there you will
be transported to a wilderness fishing stream by boat, or Alaskan floatplane.
Once you are streamside Rick will provide casting lessons (if needed), help you
locate the fish, and set you up with the gear fish like. Fishing
typically occurs within the section of stream very near the beach. This allows
for the opportunity to catch bright ocean fresh salmon. The close proximity to
the beach also reduces the amount of hiking required. However, due to uneven terrain,
limited hiking, etc. it is recommend that clients be in good physical condition.
Freshwater
spin casting rods are available on request. Trip
